Annual General Meetings

The 2026 Annual General Meetings for the Moorabbin Obedience Dog Club Inc and the Moorabbin & Districts Obedience Dog Training Club Inc will be held after lunch at 12.30 pm Sunday 15^th November 2026 at GR Bricker Reserve Rowans Road Moorabbin in the MODC Hall. 

Agendas, Annual Reports and Financial Reports will be emailed in November 2026.  

If you have any business items to include in the agenda at the AGM please hand them in writing to the Office before 12.00pmSunday 25th October 2026. 

Nominations for Committee of Management for 2027

Are you, or someone you know, interested in standing for election to the Committee of Management of the Moorabbin Obedience Dog Club Inc./ Moorabbin & Districts Obedience Dog Training Club Inc.  

Job descriptions are available for each position. Ask at the office if you would like to read them. 

This is your opportunity to have some input into the running and decision making of your Club. The Committee meets 11 times per year for approximately 2 - 3 hours per meeting.  There may be some work involved at other times, but the workload is not great and is of great benefit to everyone in the Club.  Please consider standing for election. 

Each nominee must be nominated by another club member.  

All executive positions (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) fall vacant at our Annual General Meeting onSunday 15^th November 2026.

Nominations for the 2027 Committee of Management open on Sunday 4^th October 2026 and close at 12.00pm on Sunday 25^th October 2026.  The positions to be filled are: 

Executive:

President 

Vice President 

Secretary 

Treasurer 

Committee members: Four (4) X 2-year tenure and Two (2) X 1 year tenure  

The following Ordinary Committee members will complete their term at the 2026 AGM: 

Michele Moore, Trish Singer, Diane Gnieslaw and Elizabeth Landry

The following Ordinary Committee members complete their term at the 2027 AGM: 

Julie Mikkola, Pam Shah 

The nomination form is attached to the Notice Board in the MODC Hall 

If you are interested or want to nominate a member, then complete the nominations’ form located on the notice board near the office. Remember all nominations must be countersigned by the nominee.
